THE COACHING AGREEMENT
The Basic Coaching Agreement
The Coaching Agreement (to be signed by the coach and the client) spells out, among other things, the following:
- the commitment of coach and client to the client’s growth
- the purpose of coaching
- the responsibilities of the client
- the responsibilities of the coach
- the importance of confidentiality
- logistics, fees, scheduling
- etc.
The Third-Party Agreements
When coaching is paid for by a sponsor, for example a parent or employer, a Third Party Agreement (instead of our Basic Coaching Agreement) will need to be signed by the coach, client, and sponsor.
This agreement spells out, among other things, the following:
- the commitment of all three parties to the client’s growth
- the purpose of coaching
- the responsibilities of the client
- the responsibilities of the sponsor
- the responsibilities of the coach
- the importance of confidentiality
- logistics, fees, scheduling
- etc.
