Welcome to Free To Be Coaching — life coaching especially for those with ADHD and similar challenges — where we help you . . .
REALIZE YOUR POTENTIAL TO
CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY TO THE LIVES OF OTHERS.
There are few things more satisfying than feeling your life is making a positive difference for others. Social scientists tell us that a sense of contribution is a fundamental human need. But so often we find ourselves unable to contribute as effectively as we would like, whether as an individual, as a team member, or as a leader. Our limiting beliefs and patterns of behavior often seem to get in the way.
Fortunately, these beliefs and patterns can be changed.
OUR COACHING CAN HELP YOU OPEN THE DOOR
TO A LIFE OF GREATER SATISFACTION AND FULFILLMENT
What’s getting in the way of your having the kind of impact you want?
Is it . . .
• inability to get started
• lack of focus
• difficulty setting a goal
• limiting beliefs
• trouble prioritizing
• lack of social skills
• time blindness
These are just some of the challenges we can support you in overcoming,
so you can be FREE TO “BE the change you wish to see.”
Coaching helps free you from habitual limited thoughts and actions while also freeing you to discover, appreciate, and utilize your many strengths. As a result, you increase your impact, your sense of contribution, and the legacy you’ll leave behind!
We are Neil and Linda Swanson, and we are glad you stopped by! We are credentialed coaches who are passionate about helping individuals who want to make things better. Does that describe you? Are you yearning to make a difference in your unique way? But do you need a little help addressing some part of you that seems to be getting in the way?
We work with anyone who knows their life could be richer and fuller and who is willing to engage fully in the coaching process. We have received special training in working with people who are not reaching their potential due to ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) or similar executive function challenges.
Over the years we have seen how much personal challenges have interfered with our own efforts to make a difference in the world and have discovered that those challenges can be identified and addressed through good coaching. Our focus now is on helping others overcome their challenges in order to make their unique contributions. You can read more about our journeys of personal growth on the About Neil and About Linda pages.
We invite you to experience a free Introductory Conversation with one of us. You may use the Contact Us form below to request an appointment. During the Introductory Conversation, you will have an opportunity to share what brings you to coaching, and your coach will share some thoughts about how coaching might be able to address that challenge. In the process, it should become clear to both parties whether this is likely to be a good coaching partnership.
Before becoming a client with Neil, I looked at my ADD as a weakness. Coaching has allowed me to see myself in a new light. This new light allows me to focus on my innate strengths and abilities, as I move forward with a stronger sense of self. The impact and understanding of my life that I have gained from working with Neil has been invaluable.DL, Oregon
I had reached a point in my life where I knew I needed help (in experiencing life in a different and positive way). Linda’s warmth and caring coaching skills with her knowledge and experience is making a huge impact in how I perceive and react to issues. Because of her insight and encouragement, I have begun making conscious changes that have literally “set me free” from entrenched ways of thinking. I feel more “me” and more confident in “me” than I’ve ever felt and I have never laughed so much in such a long time! Thank you Linda – I am so grateful!MS, Virginia

Your colleague (or it could be a friend or family member) tells you the details of the exact conversation in which you made the personal commitment, even reminding you of the time and place the conversation occurred.read more
